Echo ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled when you use the Echo mobile application.
1. Information We Collect
Echo does not collect, transmit, or store any of your journal entries, moods, moments, weather selections, or personal content on our servers. All data is stored locally on your device using encrypted local storage.
2. How We Use Your Information
Since your data never leaves your device, we do not process, analyze, or share your journal content. Optional app analytics (if enabled by your device) are handled by Google Play Services and are governed by Google's privacy policy.
3. Data Storage & Security
Your entries are encrypted with AES-256 and stored only on this device. The encryption key never leaves your device. You may set an optional PIN lock for additional protection.
4. Third-Party Services
Echo does not integrate with third-party analytics, advertising, or cloud storage services. Google Play may collect standard installation and crash data as part of their platform services.
5. Your Rights
You have full control over your data. You can export, import, or permanently delete all journal data at any time from within the app settings.
6. Children's Privacy
Echo does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The app does not require an account or personal identifiers.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the app and on this page with an updated effective date.
